Orchard Church Work Day

As part of our Property Stewardship efforts, we are organizing a "Church Work Day" on Saturday, November 8 from 8am-4pm. 

This is a church wide opportunity for volunteers to fix, clean and improve areas throughout our building and grounds. Here are the various areas we will be tackling:

• Landscaping/Invasive's- (mowing, trimming, leaf raking/blowing, weed removal, removal of invasive species of trees/plants)

• Cleaning- (dusting, glass doors/windows, deep cleaning, exterior of building)

• Fencing removal- (removing silk and plastic fencing around the property perimeter)

• Handyman projects- (patching holes, installing half wall, increasing storage)

• Organizing- (kitchen, mechanical rooms, sanctuary seating, relocating items)

• Outdoor projects- (small shed repair, new shed storage, mailbox installation)

• Painting- (youth room, back stairwell, varnishing wood trim)

When signing up you will have the opportunity to select the areas that you are most interested in, but also know that based on the needs of the various projects we might need to ask you to shift to a different area, depending on how many people sign up. To sign up, click the Volunteer button below.
